Whether you're new to lash extensions or a regular wearer, it's important to know how to care for your lashes to keep them looking their best and lasting longer. Here's a quick guide to help you out!
Why You Should Care for Your Lashes:
Healthy Lashes: The better you care for them, the stronger and healthier your natural lashes will be.
Longer-Lasting Beauty: The more you care for your lashes, the longer they’ll stay looking fresh and full.
Save on Refills: Take good care of your lashes, and you won’t need refills as often, saving you time and money.
The Do’s:
Don’t touch your lashes too much—especially in the first few hours. Oils from your fingers can cause them to lose their shape.
Keep them dry for 24 hours. Avoid hot showers, steam, or sweating. If you wash your hair, try to keep water off your lashes.
Use oil-free products on your face—especially makeup removers and cleansers. We recommend this lash safe foaming cleanserclick here!
Clean your lashes a few times a week with a gentle lash cleanser click here!
Use a sealant to protect the bond between your lash glue and lashes, especially if you work out, visit the sauna, or go on a hot, humid holiday. We recommend this one click here!
Let us know if you’re losing more lashes than expected or want to try a thicker look next time.
The Don’ts:
Don’t pick or rub your lashes. It can damage them and hurt your natural lashes.
Avoid oily products near your eyes (like coconut oil or makeup wipes).
Don’t use waterproof mascara—it’s too harsh for lash extensions.
Don't try to remove your lashes yourself—let us handle it safely! If it's time for a removal, simply book an appointment with us. If it’s been a while since your last touch-up, you can even enjoy a complimentary removal when you get a new set with us. We're here to make sure your lashes stay flawless!
No eyelash curlers. We’ll adjust the curl for you at your next refill if needed.
What’s Normal:
Losing a few lashes each day is totally normal. Extensions fall out with your natural lashes as they grow.
Your lashes may shed more at certain times—don’t worry, it’s part of the cycle, and we’ll fill in the gaps at your next refill.
Lash sets are unique—your lashes may look a little different from your friend’s because we customise them for your natural lashes and eye shape.
What’s Not Normal:
Itching or redness: If you experience this, it could be an allergy. Let us know, and we’ll help you out.
Excessive shedding right after application: If this happens, contact us so we can check your lashes.
Feeling gritty: If your eyes feel sandy or gritty, it’s time to clean your lashes more often.
Refills:
To keep your lashes looking great, we recommend refills every 2-4 weeks. The more lashes we apply, the longer they last!
